FinancePlus Continues to Grow in Slow Market

As vendors struggle for sales in a tough market, Australian accounting software developer, FinancePlus Software remains positive with continued sales growth and new additions to their reseller channel.

Managing Director, Alain Legrand, announced today the signing of the new FinancePlus Business Partners. "We are focussed on working with a small number of carefully selected professional resellers with experience in SME accounting solutions. It's not about the number of resellers you have but the level of professionalism they possess."

Acctek Business Systems was formed in 1998, through the merger of two business software consultancy firms. Director Scott Grayson said the reason for choosing to support and sell FinancePlus accounting software was simple. "We needed an accounting software package that is powerful but also easy to use. A system that meets the accounting and business management challenges facing SMEs today, and FinancePlus is just that package."

While Mr Legrand does not deny the going to be tough in the accounting software market he believes that FinancePlus Software will continue to gain acceptance within Australian and New Zealand businesses.

"We have been around for six years with a product that's proven to be both reliable and easy to use. It takes time and patience but we have gained recognition as a credible force in the SME accounting software market," says Mr Legrand.

"We have the people and infrastructure in place and we're adding to our channel those resellers who don't just move boxes, but provide value-added services to our customers. The FinancePlus product and the professional services our Business Partners provide are the building blocks for our continued growth and success."

Mr Legrand also says that another strength for FinancePlus was that it was Australian owned, developed and supported and therefore did not have a foreign parent company calling the shots.

"We can adapt to market conditions easily and quickly, responding to our customers needs, without the need to look overseas for guidance from a management team halfway around the world who doesn't understand the local conditions."
